Fisheries feature hits the mark

I want you to know how many people appreciated the special insert on fisheries in the January edition of Bay Soundings. You were able to take an enormous amount of information and turn it into a series that was interesting and easy to read, without losing any of the important facts. As scientists, we know how difficult it can be to speak to an audience as diverse as the people reading Bay Soundings. Your stories were interesting to lay readers while still conveying the thorough, accurate and complete information scientists expect.

Correction

The chart that ran with the Winter 2009 story on
holistic fish models was labeled incorrectly. The solid lines are the trends predicted by the Ecosim model while the dots are observed fish populations.
