DESCRIPTION:Join MAR and the City of Clearwater for a hands-on morning of environmental restoration at the beautiful Moccasin Lake Nature Park.\nTogether\, we’ll pull invasive plant species to help carve out a brand-new nature trail and make a lasting impact on one of Clearwater’s most cherished green spaces.\nWhether you’re a plant enthusiast\, a Tampa Bay local\, or someone who just wants to get their hands dirty for a good cause\, this is the morning for you!\nWhat to expect: \n\nGuided invasive species removal to restore native habitat\nHelp build a new trail through Moccasin Lake Park\nWork alongside passionate community members\nLearn why invasive plants are a threat and what we can do about it\n\nWhat to Bring: \n\nComfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes\nReusable water bottle\nSunscreen and hat\nWork gloves (we will have extras!)\n\nAll necessary tools will be provided\, along with water and beverages.
