Data collected by the agency’s high-flying meteorological stations help forecasters make accurate predictions during a hurricane and help hurricane researchers achieve a better understanding of storm processes\, improving their forecast models. Join us for a talk with Alan Goldstein\, the NOAA Aircraft Acquisition Program Manager\, to learn about hurricane research and reconnaissance using specialized aircrafts. \n>>> REGISTER HERE <<< \nAlan Goldstein is the NOAA Aircraft Acquisition Program Manager\, responsible for all new aircraft acquisitions. Previously\, he was a design engineer and head of the Science and Engineering Branch at NOAA’s Aircraft Operations Center.
