DESCRIPTION:Join Dave Perkey and Jan Allyn on Sunday\, July 27th to explore the plants and animals at Sawgrass Lake Park\, a 400-acre park in the Lealman area that is cooperatively managed by Pinellas County and the Southwest Florida Water Management District. The park has a mile-long boardwalk and one of the largest maple swamps on the Gulf Coast which allows people to view a variety of wildlife. There is also a half-mile uplands trail. Parking and restrooms are available at the park. More information \nMeet at 7 a.m. in front of the education building. Bring a reusable water bottle and sun/insect protection. The park is located at 7400 25th Street North\, St. Petersburg\, FL 33702. DESCRIPTION:St. Petersburg Audubon is continuing the Ron Smith “1st Saturday” Boyd Hill Field Trips. \nField Trip Leader: Paul Waton \nLocation: Boyd Hill Nature Preserve\, 1101 Country Club Way S.\, St Petersburg\, FL 33705. Walk is on dirt trails and boardwalks. \nMeet in front of the Nature Center at 7:45am\, walk will start at 8:00am. \nWhat to Bring: \nHat\, Binoculars\, Insect repellent\, Sunscreen (although portions will have shade). Water is available on some of the trails. The Nature Center has bathrooms.
