DESCRIPTION:This is the first on many Sierra Club Military Outings. \nThree hours of hiking in the Trout Creek site.\nPrepare for heat and relatively flat terrain with some periods of thick roots that may make high stepping necessary in certain parts. Much of the trail is shaded but some parts are not- at least one liter of water and a set of closed toe shoes are necessary. Encountering bikers is likely. \nBring: + Water\, at least one liter. 2 strongly recommended. + Wide-brimmed hat+ Sunscreen + Snack Optional: + Bug repellent + Rain coat \nSignup Restrictions: Former and Current Military Members. Pre-registration is required and participation is limited to the first 10 people who sign up. \nPlease do not attend this or any Tampa Audubon Society events if you have flu\, cold\, or covid symptoms. Tampa Audubon is committed to reducing the spread of illnesses. The health and safety of our members is of the highest priority. \nEntrance fee for park $2.
