SUMMARY:Tropical Fish Show & Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:The local chapters of the International Betta Congress (IBC) and the American Killifish Association (AKA) are proud to announce the third joint show and competition at the Moccasin Lake Nature Park in Clearwater\, Florida November 2 & 3\, 2019. Many types of Bettas and Killifish not traditionally seen in local pet stores will be displayed for public viewing. Judging will be held in the morning and the exhibit will be open to the public between the hours of 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Members of both organizations will be available during the public viewing period to answer questions from visitors. There will be a slide presentation describing these species of fish and how there are maintained in the home as well as breeding practices and techniques. The public is encouraged to stop by and visit the exhibition.

DESCRIPTION:The illuminated Santa Parade + Tree Lighting returns to kick off the Holidays in the Sunshine City! \nThe Santa Parade begins at Albert Whitted Park and runs along Bayshore Dr. and 5th Ave. NE. \nThe Tree Lighting will follow immediately after the Santa Parade in North Straub Park at around 7 p.m. (time is tentative and dependent upon Santa Parade end time) with Santa and Mayor Rick Kriseman lighting up the St. Petersburg downtown waterfront. \nStay after the Tree Lighting to enjoy entertainment\, children’s activities\, music and more in the park.
