But what might the water cycle look like in a developed area like Pinellas County? Learn with Lara all about the urban water cycle. Youth participants will put on their “manager” hat and help Lara figure out how to manage all of the stormwater runoff we get in the rainy season. Targeted for upper elementary and middle school aged youth. \nRegistration is required. Please register both yourself and your child. This program will cap at 20 participants. DESCRIPTION:In honor of National Estuaries Week\, Tampa Bay Watch is recruiting\nvolunteers for a land-based cleanup of Bartlett Park and Tampa Bay Watch\non Saturday\, September 21\, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Additionally we are\npartnering up with the Ocean Conservancy for their International Coastal\nCleanup\, in hopes of compiling debris data and joining hands to think\nglobally by acting locally. \nVolunteers will need to wear clothes and shoes that they don’t mind\ngetting wet and dirty\, as the majority of the trash is found within\nmangroves/marshy areas.
