Spots on this hike are limited so advance registration is required. Register for the Archaeology Day Hike & Site Visit today! \nLocal fossil collectors are encouraged to bring in artifacts such as arrow heads\, lithics\, and pottery sherds for identification during Archaeology Day. No dollar value will be assigned or discussed\, but educational information will be generously shared. \nExplore the artifacts and talk with the archaeologists at your leisure anytime between 10am to 2pm. DESCRIPTION:The local chapters of the International Betta Congress (IBC) and the American Killifish Association (AKA) are proud to announce the third joint show and competition at the Moccasin Lake Nature Park in Clearwater\, Florida November 2 & 3\, 2019. Many types of Bettas and Killifish not traditionally seen in local pet stores will be displayed for public viewing. Judging will be held in the morning and the exhibit will be open to the public between the hours of 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Members of both organizations will be available during the public viewing period to answer questions from visitors. There will be a slide presentation describing these species of fish and how there are maintained in the home as well as breeding practices and techniques. The public is encouraged to stop by and visit the exhibition.

DESCRIPTION:The local chapters of the International Betta Congress (IBC) and the American Killifish Association (AKA) are proud to announce the third joint show and competition at the Moccasin Lake Nature Park in Clearwater\, Florida November 2 & 3\, 2019. Many types of Bettas and Killifish not traditionally seen in local pet stores will be displayed for public viewing. Judging will be held in the morning and the exhibit will be open to the public between the hours of 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Members of both organizations will be available during the public viewing period to answer questions from visitors. There will be a slide presentation describing these species of fish and how there are maintained in the home as well as breeding practices and techniques. The public is encouraged to stop by and visit the exhibition.

Through programs\, exhibits\, and hand-on activities all participants will leave with a better understanding of our natural world and how we can help it. \nWe believe we have a responsibility to ensure that we are inspiring and developing the next generation of conservation champions\, wildlife enthusiasts\, and nature lovers to ensure that we are all able to enjoy a landscape rich in wildlife in the future.
