This talk will be on the blue-green algae blooms that have recently impacted South Florida’s coastal estuaries. The speakers will provide clarity on the issues\, speaking to the history of drainage in south Florida and Lake Okeechobee management\, coastal discharges and the most recent bloom events\, and current and future restoration opportunities.
