DESCRIPTION:Important! Pre-registration is required and participation is limited to the first 10 people who sign up. If you have not yet been fully vaccinated against COVID-19\, we respectfully request that you do not join us for this outing. Tampa Audubon reserves the right to cancel outings as necessary to respond to COVID-19. \nEntrance fee for park $2. Meet in the parking lot by the Visitor’s Center in Lettuce Lake Park at 9 am.  We’ll walk the boardwalk or trails\, depending on where the best birds are.  We have binoculars to loan\, and someone will have a spotting scope so you can get up really close and personal!  Bring water and a snack. \nRSVP to trip leader Megan Campbell at megan.campbell@tampaaudubon.org.\n\nIf you have not yet been fully vaccinated against COVID-19\, we respectfully request that you do not join us for this outing. SUMMARY:Crab Trap Removal
DESCRIPTION:Tampa Bay Watch\, Ocean Aid 360\, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium\, and Coastal Impact Fund are coordinating volunteers to participate in a crab trap removal effort at Fort De Soto Park and Belleair Causeway Boat Ramp due to the 10-day regional closure of blue crab fishing. We are recruiting volunteer boaters to remove debris from the water in addition to traps as well as volunteers for a shoreline cleanup. \n Click here to register to volunteer.
