Wonderful Woodpeckers!
February 3, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
FreeWoodpeckers, the under-appreciated architects of the forest. Woodpeckers have an amazing role in our forests. Sure they knock on trees, eat a few insects, and even excavate a small home in the woody confines of our trees, but without them many other birds and wildlife would be severely impacted if not eliminated.
Join Sensing Nature Wildlife Biologist, Jeanne Murphy as she chips away and reveals the woodpeckers’ critical role in our forests. Be sure to ask Jeanne why woodpeckers do not get a headache after knocking around on all those trees.
