Join us for a Bug Walk at the Weedon Island Preserve to discover the hidden world of Weedon’s insects.

Have you ever wondered about the bugs, including butterflies, that flit around Weedon Island Preserve? What are they? Are they pollinators? What are they doing? Join Liz Childress, a staff naturalist, for a Bug Walk in the Preserve to learn how to identify some common insects, witness their beauty and behaviors, and develop a new appreciation for the role that bugs play in a healthy ecosystem.

This walk is recommended for adults and youth ages 10 and up. All youth must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
