Vegetable Gardening with a Master Gardener

Join a Master Gardener in learning about vegetable gardening in Pinellas County. You will receive information on vegetable bed preparation, seasonal crop selection, natural pest control and proper fertilization techniques. You will then tour the Ochs 4H center/community garden and see raised and in-ground vegetable beds. You will also have the opportunity to see and discuss herbs and a small assortment of tropical fruit trees.

UF/IFAS follows all CDC recommendations for COVID protection. Masks are required of all attendees during the program and on the Ochs property. Please stay at least 6′ apart from others except for those living in your immediate household. Thank you.

Please park in the parking lot on Hamlin Blvd. immediately to the south of the garden.
