The Life of a Dead Tree

January 18, 2025 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Free

It has been said that a dead tree supports more biodiversity than a live tree! Let’s explore what happens when a tree meets its end. From initial decomposers to larger opportunists, a dead tree becomes a “hive” of activity until it is reduced to dust.

Presented by James Stevenson, Education and Outreach Supervisor.

Recommended for adults and youth over 12.
