National Estuaries Week/International Coastal Cleanup

September 21, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • « 4-H/FFA Plant Project Workshop
  • Off the Beaten Path »

In honor of National Estuaries Week, Tampa Bay Watch is recruiting
volunteers for a land-based cleanup of Bartlett Park and Tampa Bay Watch
on Saturday, September 21, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Additionally we are
partnering up with the Ocean Conservancy for their International Coastal
Cleanup, in hopes of compiling debris data and joining hands to think
globally by acting locally.

Volunteers will need to wear clothes and shoes that they don’t mind
getting wet and dirty, as the majority of the trash is found within
mangroves/marshy areas. The minimum age to participate in 10 years old.
