Learning Objectives
Attendees will be able to:
- Describe the importance of hiring a certified professional to conduct structural tree pruning
- Identify how to locate a certified professional and develop reasonable and achievable contract specifications
- Develop a maintenance plan for any exisiting trees for which you are responsible
- Identify proper planting, establishment and pruning methods for optimal tree longevity
- Select an appropriate tree species for a given location
- Identify the benefits associated with a healthy community tree canopy
