Bird Walk at Largo Central Park Nature Preserve

Largo Central Park Nature Preserve is a 31-acre nature park virtually surrounded by water. A walking loop of less than 2 miles yields more than 30 species. It’s a photographer’s dream because the birds are used to people. The trails and boardwalks are wheelchair-accessible. A bathroom is located by the parking lot. DO NOT CONFUSE THIS PARK WITH LARGO CENTRAL PARK. We will meet in the parking lot at 7 am and should be finished by 9 am, giving you ample opportunities to check out other hotspots in the area.

Pre-registration is REQUIRED and is limited to the first 10 people who sign up.  Contact trip leader Lilian Saul at:  lily.saul@tampaaudubon.org to join.  If you have not yet been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, we respectfully request that you do not join us for this outing. Tampa Audubon reserves the right to cancel outings as necessary to respond to Covid 19.
