Ales and Wild Tails – Florida’s Manatees

Please join us to learn more about Florida’s incredible manatees. Joyce Kleen, retired biologist from Crystal River NWR will present an overview of the five refuges managed at the Crystal River, aerial manatee survey techniques, population status, and species biology of these amazing creatures. Come on out and enjoy a delicious craft beer, while learning about manatees. The well known weekly bluegrass jam follows the presentation.

Ales and Wild Tails is co-hosted by the Center for Biological Diversity and Friends of the Tampa Bay National Wildlife Refuges. It takes place on the second Wednesday evening of every month during the fall, winter, and spring.
