Increasing Community Resilience in Manatee County

Manatee County, UF Resilient Communities initiative, IFAS SeaGrant and the TB Regional Planning Council will present and discuss:
  • new regionalized sea level rise projections;
  • updates on flood maps;
  • new county mapping tools for visualizing SLR inundation to infrastructure;
  • inundation to housing and social vulnerability;
  • Peril of Flood requirements;
  • Resilience Coalition goals and priorities.

This workshop is supported by 2018 grant from the Florida Resilient Coastlines Program in the Florida Coastal Office of DEP with funding from NOAA’s Florida Coastal Management Program.
