flora Torreya State Park, 12,000 acres of bluffs and ravines and one of
the major centers of endemism in North America. Named for the extremely
rare Torreya tree that is confined to this area, and straddling the
Apalachicola River, the region is extremely rich in rare flora and fauna
including many that are found nowhere else in Florida.
Bring a friend and come at 6:30 for socializing, the meeting and
presentation, free refreshments, and a silent plant auction.
