Florida Birds of Prey

January 13 - January 15

This weekend, Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) is hosting Florida Birds
of Prey, Sat., Jan. 13 through Mon., Jan. 15, 2018.

This unique opportunity will feature a special live exhibit of rescued
Florida raptors! These birds include: a screech owl, a barred owl, a
great horned owl, a red tailed hawk, a red shouldered hawk, a kestrel and
more! A rescued bald eagle will even visit on Sun., Jan. 14!

There will also be educational activities, including: owl pellet
dissection, a bird feeding game, a build your own Kestrel box
demonstration and a Bird Watching Boat Tour (tickets sold separately).

For this special Bird Watching Boat Tour, CMA will be joined by the
Clearwater Audubon Society. Guests can cruise the Clearwater Bay,
learning about local birds, their habitats and identification techniques.
They will witness birds, and other wildlife, in action as a narrator
provides interesting and educational facts for a fun ecological
experience.

All featured raptors are rescued, just like our resident animals here at
CMA. To learn more about this event, visit
